North Carolina's Cooperating Technical State Committee has selected the Program Manager and Project Manager to manage the State's Floodplain Mapping Program. As Program Manager, Mr. Rodger Durham, PLS, will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the State's Floodplain Mapping Program. Mr. Durham has over 23 years experience in surveying and mapping. He most recently served as State/County Boundary Surveyor for the North Carolina Geodetic Survey. Mr. Durham earned an MS in Surveying and Mapping from Purdue University in 1977.

Mr. Abdul Rahmani has been selected as Project Manager. He will be responsible for engineering issues (hydrology, hydraulics, and coastal analyses) related to the State's Floodplain Mapping Program. Mr. Rahmani has over 25 years of diverse experience in civil engineering at the State and local level. He most recently served as Transportation Staff Engineer, Hydraulics Design Unit, for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Mr. Rahmani earned an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1968 from North Carolina State University.
