Preliminary Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) panels and the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) Reports (both dated April 30, 2014) have been issued to Duplin, Johnston, Wayne, and Sampson Counties and Incorporated Communities. Some Special Flood Hazard Areas of Pender, Wake, Bladen, and Cumberland Counties have also been impacted by these revisions; updated DFIRM panels and FIS Reports with the same date have been issued preliminary to these counties. All flood hazard data is available on the North Carolina Floodplain Mapping Programís website, Flood Risk Information System (FRIS).
